Acting Detective Sergeant Matt Burgin-Powell funeral details

The funeral of Acting Detective Sergeant Matt Burgin-Powell will take place on Tuesday (16 December).

Matt will receive a full police funeral at Seven Hills Crematorium.

People attending are asked to note that it will be traditional black dress.

The service starts at midday and will be followed by a private burial.

A wake to celebrate his life will be held at La Vida, Sea Road, Felixstowe.

Matt died from a heart attack at the age of 32 on 10 November.

He is survived by his husband, Luke, who is also a serving Suffolk Police officer.
