Is your uniform comfortable? Is it fit for purpose? Does it affect you doing your job?
Suffolk Federation members are being encouraged to complete a national survey and give their views on police uniform.
The first-ever National Police Uniform and Equipment Survey is being carried out by Lancaster University in collaboration with the Police Federation of England and Wales (PFEW).
It has had input from the National Police Chiefs’ Council, the Police Superintendents’ Association, UNISON and the Home Office, and runs until Monday 12 August.
The survey explores a range of issues from whether the uniform is fit for purpose to whether it’s comfortable, from whether it affects their health to how it makes officers feel.
Data from the survey will be used to inform future uniform policy.
Suffolk Police Federation vice chair Matt Paisley said: “Please take the survey so we can get a complete picture of the issues around police uniform.
“The results will be used to inform decision makers and help shape uniform policy in the future.”
The link to the survey has been sent to members' inboxes.
