Former Premier League footballer John Hartson will be the special guest speaker at a Know Your Balls seminar being organised by the Federation’s Men’s Health Forum later this month.
John was treated for testicular cancer which had spread to his lungs and brain in 2009.
The online seminar, which will take place on Wednesday 24 April, running from 10.30am until 12 noon, has been organised as part of Testicular Cancer Awareness Month.
It will explain the importance of men regularly checking themselves with medical experts giving practical guidance on how to perform self-examinations.

Other speakers will include the Federation’s men’s health lead Zac Mader, the police service chief medical officer Professor John Harrison and police officer Alison Rowse.
John Hartson played for Arsenal, West Ham and Wimbledon before heading to Celtic and then becoming assistant coach for the Welsh international side.
After his own diagnosis, he founded the John Hartson Foundation to raise awareness of the symptoms of testicular cancer and therefore help with early detection.
The foundation also helps patients suffering from testicular cancer by providing facilities and support services not normally provided by local authorities, including counselling.
