Detective remembered

Suffolk Police Federation chair Darren Harris has paid tribute to DC Michael Last on the anniversary of his death.

Michael, 32, died in a road accident while on RCS duty on 23 September 1987.

Darren said: “We remember Michael today and also the service he gave to the people of Suffolk while working for the Force. Our thoughts are with his family, friends and colleagues today. Our fallen colleagues are never forgotten.”

Norfolk DC Terence Glister also died in the same incident.
