The chair of Suffolk Police Federation says he was honoured to represent members at the Force’s Service of Remembrance.
Darren Harris laid a wreath on behalf of the Federation at the service, which was held at Force headquarters.
His was one of five wreaths laid with Chief Constable Rachel Kearton, Police and Crime Commissioner Tim Passmore, Detective Chief Superintendent David Cutler, chair of the Suffolk Superintendent Association, and Annie Powell, deputy secretary of the UNISON branch, also laying one each.
Darren said: “It’s a proud and humbling moment to be able to represent our members and lay a wreath in memory of the sacrifice of our brave servicemen and women.
“We will remember them.”
