Fed elections: vote for a new rep

Voting is now open for a new workplace representative to join the Suffolk Police Federation Branch Council.

Members can choose from four candidates. Sid Carr, Alasdair Nicol, Jonathan Stordy and Joe Whitehead are all standing for election.

Members have until 11.59pm on Thursday 20 October to cast their vote and details have been emailed to members by Mi-voice, the company that organises the elections.

Darren Harris, chair of Suffolk Police Federation, said: “Our workforce reps offer guidance, support and advice and can make a big difference to members.

“They also represent their colleagues on our Branch Council and other bodies and committees.

“I’d encouraged as many of our members as possible to engage in the process and vote for who they want to support and represent them.

“Please read each candidate’s election statement to find out what they’re standing for and cast your vote.”
