The latest edition of the Suffolk Police Federation newsletter is available now.

The front page of the June edition features the Force’s new welfare lodge in Norfolk which will be available later in the year for Group Insurance Scheme members to book breaks away. There is a two-page piece with photos detailing the full specification of the lodge and the area it’s set in.

Chair Darren Harris reflects on the impact of the pandemic over the last 14 months and encourages anyone who feels their mental health has been affected to contact their workplace rep for help.

Ahead of this year’s Police Federation elections, there are also articles from four current reps who explain how they came to the role and how much they enjoy it. And former officer Jon Alcock tells his story of how the Federation helped him through a difficult period of his life.
