Flexible Degree Pathway

Norfolk Police Federation have been contacted by the University of Bedfordshire, who have shared details of an academic opportunity designed specifically for working professionals, which may be of interest to you, our members, looking to enhance your careers within or beyond policing. Over the last few years the University have been contacted by serving officers about their courses and this prompted them to write a course specifically for professionals. 

They have developed a flexible, part-time degree programme tailored for experienced professionals:

• Recognition of Prior Experience: The course formally recognises work-related skills and professional experience, enabling eligible students to complete a full degree in just 2 years part-time.

• Remote Delivery: Designed around shift patterns and busy work schedules, taught online with 2 on campus sessions per semester if available. 

• Career Progression: Built to support career development for those aiming for promotion within the service or preparing for future transitions outside policing.
