The Leicestershire Police Federation branch office has moved.
We are now in our newly refurbished offices on the first floor at Keyham Lane Police Station.
“In response to feedback from members, we decided late last year to move back to Force premises,” says Matt Robinson, secretary of Leicestershire Police Federation, “We had discussions with senior officers who were keen to facilitate this move and it was agreed that we could take over the space vacated by the Economic Crime Unit.
“When we moved out of Force Headquarters four years ago, we had outgrown our office space there and there were few other suitable places for us to re-locate to so we moved away from Force premises. At that point, we felt there may be some advantages in being off-site as it were.
“However, as time has passed and as we have spoken to members about our location, we have realised that the disadvantages of being away from the Force far outweighed any advantages so we are pleased to have re-located at Keyham Lane.”
