GMP Federation elects new Equality Lead

Greater Manchester Police Federation held its Branch Council meeting at Manchester Town Hall this month.

The Federation welcomed full time Equality Lead, Brett Grange, who has recently been elected.

There was also discussion regarding a new shift trial, pay review body, major event resourcing and officer wellbeing.

GMP Chief Constable Ian Hopkins attended and took part in a Q&A session touching many topics including spit guards, custody, detective recruiting and work force transformation.
