Dyfed Powys Police Federation

Spring magazine out now

31 March 2026

In this edition of Chwarae Teg/Fair Play, find all the latest news and views from your Federation as we welcome the arrival of spring.

Here, we pay tribute to our female colleagues in policing as some incredible branch representatives, and members help us mark International Women’s Day with stories of achievement and ambition from their careers.

We bring you up to speed on events concerning the Federation in Westminster, where branch chair Delme Rees recounts his briefing with Welsh MPs in March and shares his optimism for greater engagement on issues such as misconduct investigations and police suicides.

Pay rise

Delme also gives his views on funding matters, including a proposed police pay rise plan and a boost of investment enabling numerous officers to return to frontline roles – as well as touching base with members through his regular magazine address.

Elsewhere, we hear from a Fed member who saved a woman’s life performing off-duty heroics in a serious incident at a London hotel, before completing a 24-hour public order shift in the capital and later being commended for his dedication by a key policing figure.

All this and more is in the spring 2026 issue of your Dyfed Powys Police Federation magazine, keeping you connected with the colleagues proud to represent you.
