Dyfed Powys Police Federation

Federation magazine winter edition out now

3 December 2025

The winter edition of Chwarae Teg/Fair Play, the magazine of Dyfed Powys Police Federation, is available now.

The magazine is packed with news and views from your Federation and is free to download.

It leads with a column from branch chair Delme Rees and his thoughts on this year’s Police Federation of England and Wales conference.

Delme also highlights the impact of the branch’s new workplace reps and discusses the abolition of Police and Crime Commissioners.

Elsewhere, we meet the branch’s newest full-time rep, Sergeant Leyton Phillips, who is the student support officer, treasurer, vice chair, and deputy conduct lead.

Leyton discusses his experience of 21 years on the frontline and his passion for helping people.

He also reflects on his first PFEW conference, in a round-up of events at the Birmingham NEC.

Read an update from national chair Tiff Lynch on the Copped Enough campaign. There’s a warning of a policing crisis from PFEW secretary John Partington and calls for urgent reform. And chief executive Mukund Krishna announces three ‘commitments’ to support members.

Delme looks back at key moments of 2025, including the Federation elections, the National Police Bravery Awards, the National Police Memorial Day.
