A Christmas message from Dyfed Powys Police Federation

Christmas is one of the busiest periods for policing. For many members, it means long and unsociable hours, and missing out on precious moments with loved ones.

I want to recognise those sacrifices, and members’ selfless and tireless work in serving and protecting our communities over the Christmas period.

I also want to thank their families for their understanding and support.

I hope that, wherever possible, you are able to find some time for yourselves over the festive period to rest, reset, and recharge.

Please remember to look after yourselves and to look out for each other.

For some it can be a difficult time of the year, and no one should feel they have to cope alone.

Your Police Federation is here for you. I, along with your Federation representatives, will be on call during Christmas and the New Year.

We will have reps on call 24/7 ready to provide support, advice, and representation when it is needed.

On behalf of the branch, thank you for everything you do. Stay safe, take care, and I wish you and your loved ones a peaceful Christmas and a healthy and happy New Year.
