Dyfed Powys Police Federation members are being invited to an online Q&A about their pensions this Friday (6 September).
It’s being run by the All Wales Pensions Hub and will take place on Teams starting at 10am.
Officers can find the link to the session in the newsfeed on the Force intranet, which is also available on MDTs.
The Q&A will be recorded and uploaded to the Force Intranet Police Federation page for members who cannot make the session.
Police Federation of England and Wales (PFEW) has produced a three-slide PowerPoint to provide more information about the issues around the ABS-RSS rollout and what officers should be considering.”
Dyfed Powys Police Federation is reminding members to visit the Dyfed Pension Fund website, which is the administrator of their pension, in order to resolve any issues.
Members can also speak to someone on the phone about their pension:
Members with surnames starting with the letters A through to G should call 01267 224048
Members with surnames starting with the letters H through to O should call 01267 224909
And members with surnames starting with the letters P through to Z P should call 01267 224054.
The branch has also stressed that none of the Federation, the administrators, or the pensions hub can give financial advice and that the onus is on individual officers to make the decision for themselves.
More information and the latest PFEW position on key pension topic areas is available here.
