Factsheet gives advice on bereavement

This week is Grief Awareness Week, an annual initiative aimed at highlighting the impact of grief and breaking the taboo about talking about it.

To mark the week (2 to 8 December), Police Mutual, which offers a range of products and services for police officers, staff, their families and the wider police family, has published an informative factsheet.

It offers advice on how to help yourself if you have suffered a bereavement and tips on how to support others, including children, who are grieving.

Police Mutual has also published two more factsheets to coincide with awareness days this week.
