Dyfed Powys Police Federation

A Christmas message from Dyfed Powys Police Federation

19 December 2023

We want to wish everyone in Dyfed Powys Police a merry Christmas and a happy New Year.

Christmas can be a difficult time for police officers, with many working long and unsociable hours and missing out on precious moments with their families.

But we know that the work of police officers, staff and volunteers is appreciated by the overwhelming majority of people and communities, and we would like to thank everyone for their hard work and dedication to the job.

We all know from our own experiences how difficult it can be around this time of year to leave loved ones when we have to go out on shift, so it’s vital we look after our wellbeing and that of family, friends and colleagues.

Please look out for each other and check in with your colleagues.

The Federation is always here if you need our support, not only over the Christmas period but into 2024 and beyond.

Have a lovely Christmas and New Year and stay safe.
