Courageous Lifesaving Actions

PC Williams is being recognised at the forthcoming Cleveland Federation Bravery Awards 21^st March 24. This courageous officer put his own safety and life at risk to save a female who was threatening to jump of the top of a building.

At one point the female was hanging off the edge of the building, when PC Williams took decisive action by grabbing hold of her and trying to pull her back to safety. This selfless act of bravery put the officer at risk of being pulled over with the female. PC Williams managed to pull the female back to safety, where they received medical treatment and the help they required.

Police Officers routinely disregard their own safety to protect others and the communities they serve. Cleveland Police Federation is very humbled and privileged to recognise the acts of bravery and courage they carry out.
