City of London Police Federation current Chair Mike Reed elected back into role for the next three years

The City of London Police Federation are delighted to confirm that the current Chair Mike Reed has been confirmed in his role for the next three years - after being unopposed for the third term running.

Mike said: “I’m extremely honoured to have been re-elected and unopposed in the Federation branch board process, for a third term in office. I have always tried my hardest to represent the membership to the best of my abilities with good outcomes for them as either individuals or as a collective.

“I would be wrong to say that I have always got it right but always with the right intentions and learnt from mistakes.

“As a Federation we hold our first formal meeting on the 3rd December where we welcome new and old Reps alike. From this the direction and make up of the other roles in the branch are decided. It will be a privilege to help guide these Reps to achieve what a Federation is there for, its members.

“After nine years as Chair and the experience of looking after members’ interests with everything from UPP, Welfare, discipline, and PIP’s at two of the London Terrorist Attacks, it may be time to consider where I can best utilise these skills, combined with my strategic knowledge…’
