Police Mutual also offers a free 24/7, 365 day a year nurse led care line that supports Police Colleagues and their families, offering a friendly listening ear, practical information, and emotional support where it’s needed most. Police Mutual Respite Care provides tailored support for members of the Police Service and their families who have been through a traumatic event or bereavement – helping them to get away from it all and recuperate.  Examples of individuals receiving a free break/holiday include those who have suffered a serious illness or injury in the last six months, carers with day-to-day responsibilities for a disabled partner or child, those suffering a recent bereavement of a close relative ot those who have experienced a particularly traumatic event due to carrying out duties at work.  View eligibility criteria and complete Nomination Form.
