90 days from today is Fri, 13 June 2025
Members retiring from the Force on pension/medical grounds have the option of continuing with the following schemes:
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE GROUP INSURANCE SCHEME DOES NOT INCLUDE CRITICAL ILLNESS.
Details of the Retired Officers Group Insurance Scheme can be found in the Insurance Scheme Booklet and the Group Legal Expenses Document which are both in the GROUP INSURANCE SCHEME DOCUMENTS SECTION.
You will be automatically enrolled in the retired officer scheme unless you let us know otherwise.
If there is any change of circumstances it is vital you contact the Federation as soon as possible to check your beneficiary is up to date. Failure to do this can affect any claims.
You can download a retired officer beneficiary form in the Group Insurance Scheme Documents section, just complete (you can type in the form before you print), sign and send back to the Federation office via email to westmidlandspf@polfed.org or post back to us.
