Do you have a good knowledge of Police Regulations? Are you looking for a fulfilling part-time position?
If so, then West Midlands Police Federation may have the perfect job for you.
The branch is currently looking to recruit a new information and research officer within its member services team. The role is permanent and will be for 20 hours per week, spread across five days a week working at the branch office in Sheldon.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Handling enquiries on Police Regulations, pensions and Force and Federation policies
- Maintaining and developing relationships with member service partners
- Administering death and critical illness claims, and
- Working as part of the office team to provide a professional service to members.
Applicants will need administration experience, competency in using Microsoft packages, and detailed knowledge of the police service, Police Regulations and related legislation. They will also be expected to be well organised and have the ability to carry out research projects.
