The Federation was on hand to support a Force wellbeing event at C3 Aston for officers, staff and Specials working in Operations.

Jess Davies and Mat Minton, branch chair and deputy chair respectively, talked to those who attended, explaining the support the Federation can offer and answering questions from members.

“We were pleased to get out to see members and to join some of our Member Service partners in supporting this wellbeing initiative,” says Jess.

“We are all too well aware of the pressures officers are facing and therefore we feel it is important for us to be as visible as possible and to remind members of the support that is available to them through the Federation.”

Joining Jess and Mat at the event on Wednesday (1 July) were representatives from Bluline Police Healthcare Scheme, Serve and Protect credit union, Police Mutual, the Police Treatment Centres, the West Midlands Police Sports and Social Club, the Force Benevolent Fund and Uniform Mortgages.

At the end of the wellbeing event, Mat went out with officers to support the policing operation surrounding the World Cup to see first-hand the work members are undertaking during the tournament.
