Federation supporting Force wellbeing event

9 September 2026

The autumn season of West Midlands Police Federation roadshows will start later this month.

The first will be on Thursday 24 September when the Federation will support a Sandwell LPA wellbeing event at West Bromwich Police Station

Federation branch chair Jess Davies and health, safety and wellbeing lead Ali Rowe will be on hand to offer help, support and advice from 10am until 2pm during the event which will be held in two of the LPA’s conference rooms.

“We are pleased to back this event and hope that as many members as possible will attend to find out more not just about what support the Federation can offer but also about the range of wellbeing support available to police officers and staff across the Force area,” says Jess.

“We know that everyone working in policing is under pressure and their wellbeing is critically important. It can be hard to admit that you might need some extra support but that can be a vitally important first step to getting the help you need.

“It is OK not to be OK. There is always somewhere to turn to, even if just for a sympathetic, listening ear, and the Federation can help members access that.”

Further roadshow dates will be announced soon.
