Federation set to attend wellbeing event

Federation officials will be at West Bromwich Police Station on Thursday (24 September) to support a Force wellbeing event for officers and staff at Sandwell LPA.

Federation branch chair Jess Davies and health, safety and wellbeing lead Ali Rowe will be on hand to offer help, support and advice from 10am until 2pm during the event which will be held in two of the LPA’s conference rooms.

“We are looking forward to seeing as many members as possible. We will be able to answer their queries and also talk about the help and support the Federation can offer,” says Jess.

“We appreciate that everyone is under huge pressure at the moment but officer and staff wellbeing has to be a priority if we are to continue to deliver effective policing services.

“It can be difficult to ask for help or to say that you are struggling but there is support on hand once you take that first step.

“It is OK not to be OK. There is always somewhere to turn to, even if just for a sympathetic, listening ear, and the Federation can help members access that.”
