Federation pays tribute to Kent PC

23 March 2026

West Midlands Police Federation chair Jess Davies has paid tribute to a Kent PC who died on Saturday.

Bradley Corke, who was 27, was critically injured on Thursday evening when responding to an ‘immediate’ call.

“Our thoughts are with the family, friends and colleagues of PC Corke,” says Jess, “His sad death, at such a young age, is a tragic reminder of the risks faced by officers as they go about their duties, serving and protecting the public.

“His commitment to his role should never be forgotten.”

PC Corke was in a marked police vehicle with a colleague when they were involved in a collision with another car in Farningham, Kent.

The second officer is critically ill in hospital while a member of the public in the other vehicle is also being treated for serious injuries.

PC Corke joined Kent Police in May 2022. He was based in Tonbridge and spent his police service in the towns of west Kent.
