Members made the most of an opportunity to find out more about the work of West Midlands Police Federation during a roadshow at Bloxwich Police Station.

The roadshow, which was for members within the Walsall LPA, was organised by the Federation branch and attended by deputy chair Mat Minton and Walsall based workplace representative Nick Churm.

“It was great to be able to get out to Bloxwich and have a chance to talk to members, answer their questions and hear about any issues they are facing,” says Mat.

“This was the last of our current run of six roadshows, but we are hoping to organise some more in the coming months.

“I would urge members to keep an eye on our website and social media to find out when dates for future roadshows have been finalised.

“The roadshows have been popular and well received by members and, as a Federation, we have found them to be a useful means of improving our engagement with the membership.”

The Bloxwich roadshow ran from 10am until 2pm on Wednesday and was attended by representatives from the Police Treatment Centres, Gallaghers - providers of the Group Insurance Scheme, Serve and Protect and the Benevolent Fund.
