Don’t lose your vote in Federation elections

With only a week left until the poll closes, West Midlands Police Federation is encouraging all subscribing members to vote in the current by-election for new workplace representatives.
All subscribing Federation members, from constables through to chief inspectors and Specials should have received an email to their Force email address last Friday (25 September).
Some may have missed this and the email could have landed in their junk email box so please check as all emails are specific to individuals.
“There are 30 candidates for 19 vacancies and we would like to encourage a good voting turn-out to reflect the calibre of nominations,” says Matt Manwaring, deputy secretary of West Midlands Police Federation.
“Anyone who has not received a voting email should contact me or the independent electoral company Mi-Voice at support@mi-voice.com.”
Voting opened at 12 noon on Friday 25 September and will close at 4pm on Friday 9 October.
All reps elected will receive full training for their role which is voluntary and carried out alongside their Force duties.
