Police Regulations: your questions answered

Officers looking for the answers to their queries on Police Regulations can find help at hand with the publication of a new Quick Reference Guide (QRG).

The latest edition of the QRG has just been produced by the Police Federation and is designed to help members, supervisors and senior leaders.

“I would go as far as to say that everyone could learn something by reading this useful guide,” says Tim Rogers, secretary of West Midlands Police Federation, “But, most importantly, it should be the first place people go to when they are unsure about any aspect of Police Regulations. It’s easy to use and is a great source of information.”

West Midlands Police Federation also has a Police Regulations specialist, Gary Nuttall, who can be contacted by email if you have a query that you cannot resolve by referring to the QRG.
