Memorial day features in branch magazine

Coverage of the National Police Memorial Day - held for the first time at Coventry Cathedral - features in the latest edition of our branch magazine which is available to read online now.

The memorial day, held at the end of September each year, gives the police service the opportunity to come together to remember fallen officers and is attended by the families of those colleagues who have died in the course of their duties.

The magazine also gives an update on a campaign being led by our branch secretary, Tim Rogers, to bring about a legislative change to give better protection to police officers who stop motorists along with an update on Tim and branch chair Jess Davis attending the Labour Party Conference.

There is an interview with new branch deputy chair, Mat Minton, plus an update on a regional Federation role taken up by his predecessor, Aaron Bell.
