Federation secures free course for officers seeking promotion

Officers aiming for promotion and sitting the National Police Promotion Framework (NPPF) exams next spring can now sign up for a free kick-start course thanks to a partnership with West Midlands Police Federation.
The course, which will be held in November at the Federation office, is being provided by Police Pass, the leading provider of police exam preparation for more than 20 years.
It is for officers preparing for the Spring 2026 NPPF Step 2 Sergeant or Inspector Exam.
The three-hour virtual session will run from 9.30am until 12.30pm on Monday 24 November in the conference room at Guardians House in Sheldon, Birmingham.
It will be delivered by experienced Police Pass tutors and will include:
- An overview of the NPPF process and Part 2 Legal Exam
- Key syllabus topics and high-scoring areas
- Study tips, free content locations and planning tools
- Exclusive on the day discounts.
