Federation remembers brave PC

West Midlands PC Deborah Harman-Burton died on this day in 2006.

Deborah was travelling home from a night shift with another officer and was on the A452 Birmingham Road between Balsall Common and Kenilworth when the car in which she was a passenger, was involved in a three-car road accident. She was 28.

She joined the Force in August 2003 and was formally recognised with chief superintendent’s commendations for bravery and reducing crime against students in Coventry.
