Seasonal message from the Federation

As we approach the festive season, West Midlands Police Federation would like to wish everyone who works and volunteers within the Force a merry Christmas and a happy New Year.

Of course, at a time of year when so many other workers start to wind down for the holiday period, we appreciate this is not the case for so many of those who make up the Force workforce and we know there will be a huge number of the team who will be working for at least part of the traditional Christmas break.

The police service is there 24/7, 365 days a year fighting and preventing crime, keeping order, protecting the vulnerable and, quite often, stepping in to fill gaps left by other services.

Nevertheless, we hope that all officers, staff and volunteers get to enjoy some time with their loved ones over the festive season and, above all, we urge everyone to stay safe.
