Recognising volunteers

International Volunteers Day is celebrated on 5 December every year and aims to celebrate those who give up their own time to help others.

Police Mutual, which offers a range of products and services for police officers, staff, their families and the wider police family, has published a factsheet focussed on volunteers and highlights the many volunteering roles within policing, including Specials and police chaplains.
