14 April 2024
Today marks the 10th anniversary of the sudden death of former West Midlands Police Federation workplace representative PC Mick Chapman.
Mick, who was 48, died of a heart attack after cycling to work for a late shift on 14 April 2014.
As well as being a workplace rep, he was also a former secretary of the Constables’ Branch Board in the days when the Federation had separate rank boards for constables, sergeants and the inspecting ranks.
The Federation today remembers Mick, his family, his friends and his former colleagues.
