Survey completion will make PFEW bargaining position stronger

23 November 2023

“We’re stronger together,” says West Midlands Police Federation deputy chair Jase Dooley, as he encouraged members to complete the annual pay and morale survey.

Jase said that the more members who complete the survey the stronger the Police Federation of England and Wales’s (PFEW) position will be when campaigning for improved pay and conditions.

“The higher the turnout the more it helps us to feed back into the Force and the Government about what’s going on and the general feelings in policing.

“It’s just a few minutes out of members’ time but it gives us a massive weight for negotiation going forward.

“It’s a chance for us to show a united front because we’re stronger together.”

The survey is live and runs until Monday 11 December.

The findings will provide vital evidence to support PFEW in its national pay campaign, in fighting for fair remuneration for police officers, and in calling for an independent pay mechanism.

It will also provide accurate and timely information on the current state of police morale and wellbeing, helping to inform and drive policies to support officers.

The link to the survey and full details have been emailed to members. If you’ve not received it, please check your junk folder.
