Deadline approaches for pay and morale survey

West Midlands Police Federation members are being urged to complete this year’s pay and morale survey with the deadline fast approaching.

Officers have until Monday (3 October) to take part in the survey which has been combined with the demand, capacity and welfare survey as the Federation aims to build a comprehensive picture of the issues facing officers on pay, morale and wellbeing.

Branch chair Rich Cooke said: “There are just a few days left until the survey deadline so if you haven’t yet had a chance, please do take the time over the weekend because your contributions are invaluable.

“I think many colleagues are stretched and busy, and they are fed up of surveys thinking they make no difference which is understandable given the last few years. But it is vital we have empirical data to deploy in support of arguments we put forward to be as effective as we can be in difficult circumstances.”
