Remembering SC Resham Nahal

West Midlands Police Federation chair Jon Nott has paid tribute to Special Constable Resham Singh Nahal on the first anniversary of his death.

Resham, who was a Special Constable for more than 15 years, died on 26 June 2020 from complications to the injuries he sustained after being struck by a vehicle seven months earlier.

Jon said: “Resham was part of the policing family for many years. He was a Special Constable who always gave of himself to help, support and protect the public.

“Resham’s death was a tragic loss. He made a huge impact on everyone and he continues to be missed by all who knew him.

“Special Constable colleagues perform a vital role, often putting themselves in harm’s way to support officers and protect the public. We thank them for all they do.

“The thoughts of everyone at West Midlands Police Federation are with Resham’s family, friends and colleagues,” Jon added.
