West Midlands Police Federation has paid tribute to PC Paul Owen on the 17th anniversary of his death.
Paul was fatally injured on 20 October 2004 when he was accidentally struck by a bus as he crossed a road in Dudley while on duty attending a local authority community safety meeting. He was 47.
Federation chair Jon Nott said: “Today our thoughts and sympathies are with Paul’s family, friends and colleagues. It is so important we continue to remember fallen officers and keep their legacy alive.”
