Remembering PC Martin Laucht

West Midlands Police Federation chair Jon Nott has remembered PC Martin Laucht on the 34th anniversary of his death.

Martin (28) was killed in a motorcycle accident as he was riding pillion on surveillance duty.

Jon said: “It’s important that we continue to honour the memory of our fallen colleagues. Martin made the ultimate sacrifice in the serving the public of the West Midlands, and his service and dedication to policing should never be forgotten.

“The thoughts of everyone at West Midlands Police Federation are with Martin’s family, friends and colleagues.”
