West Midlands Police Federation chair Jon Nott has paid tribute to PC Geoffrey Collins on the 34th anniversary of his death.
PC Collins was fatally injured in a collision with a lorry while he was on a motorcycle course on 25 November 1987. He was 38.
“It’s important for us to remember our fallen colleagues,” Jon said, “Geoffrey’s dedication and service to policing and to the public we serve should never be forgotten.
“The thoughts of everyone at West Midlands Police Federation are with Geoffrey’s family and friends on this difficult day.”
