Remembering PC Colin Hall

PC Colin Hall has today been remembered by West Midlands Police Federation chair Jon Nott on the anniversary of his death.

Colin, a dog handler, collapsed and died on 29 November 1987 after helping to quell a disturbance. He was 40.

Jon said: “The police force is a tight-knit community and the loss of any colleague is always deeply felt by colleagues, even more so when it is in the line of duty and protecting the public.

“Despite the passage of time, Colin’s loss is still felt today and certainly by those that knew him well.

“The thoughts of myself and everyone at West Midlands Police Federation are with Colin’s family and friends on this difficult day.”
