West Midlands Police Federation is remembering a fallen colleague today – Christmas Eve.
PC David Cameron died from injuries sustained in a road traffic accident on 24 December 1980. He was 49.
Rich Cooke, chair of West Midlands Police Federation, paid tribute to David: “An officer losing their life is heart-breaking at any time but it somehow seems more so at Christmas time.
“Our thoughts today are with David’s family and friends as we too remember him and his service to the communities of the West Midlands.”
