Federation Magazine: June/July - Conference focus for our latest magazine

The June/July edition of West Midlands Police Federation’s magazine is out now.

It covers the 2021 Police Federation annual conference in detail with in-depth reports on the keynote speeches from Home Secretary Priti Patel and Federation chair John Apter plus articles on event highlights such as the powerful sessions on diversity, equality and policing during the pandemic.

It also features news of the resumption of treatment at St Michael’s Lodge therapy centre and the story of a new police pup named in honour of former Assistant Chief Constable Chris Johnson.

Branch chair Jon Nott said: “This edition of our members’ magazine centres around the Police Federation’s annual national conference which, just like so many other events over the last 15 months or so, was held virtually.

“While it may have been missing the buzz of a live conference, I believe it did throw the spotlight on the key issues that are currently affecting the police service and individual officers.”
