The latest edition of the West Midlands Police Federation magazine is available now and is packed full of news.

There is praise from Federation branch chair Jon Nott for how officers have adapted to the pandemic over the last 12 months, a piece that puts the mental wellbeing into the spotlight and a look at new legislation that would see updates to the protection of police drivers, Specials being granted access to the Police Federation and an increase to the maximum sentences given to those who assault police officers.

There is a focus on upcoming Federation elections and whether this could be a role for you.

‘Federation’ also features Special Constable Iain Hulbert who has dedicated more than 60 hours a month to policing while continuing his job as a professional nurse.
