All the branch’s staff continue to work from home as part of measures to control the spread of coronavirus. Full-time branch officials continue to split their time between the office and remote working.
“We closed the office on 24 March in line with the Government’s guidance and our team have adapted to working from home while also maintaining services for members,” says Jon Nott, chair of West Midlands Police Federation.
“Our primary focus is supporting and representing members, many of whom remain on the front-line serving the public. We are engaging with the Force and continue to be involved in discussions around policing and protecting our communities and our workforce.”
Federation staff working remotely have access to all systems but the office telephone lines are not operating.
