All members who have not responded to the annual Police Federation of England and Wales pay and morale survey are being reminded to do so.
The findings of the survey are used in the Federation’s annual submission to the Police Remuneration Review Body (PRRB) – the independent organisation which advises the Government on officer pay.
“If members only respond to one survey this year, I would say that this should be the one,” says Jon Nott, chair of West Midlands Police Federation, “It gives us a reflection of how officers are feeling about their pay, whether they feel their remuneration reflects the roles they undertake and also how they feel about working in the police service.
“The more officers who fill out this survey, the more weight it gives to our representations on their behalf nationally, locally and regionally.”
The survey was issued via the Federation’s National Member Database and will close at midnight on Friday 11 September.
If you need a link to the survey email the Federation office.
