Members are being urged to support a cake sale being held at Lloyd House on Tuesday to raise money for the Primrose Hospice.
The cake sale, which will be held in the café on the first floor between 10am and 2pm, has been organised by Sharon Johnson, wife of Assistant Chief Constable Chris Johnson and her colleague Sally Astwood.
Mr Johnson was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease earlier this year and has been supported by the Primrose Hospice in Bromsgrove.
The hospice is an independent charity that cares for patients in North East Worcestershire with life-limiting illnesses and also offers supports to their families.
It provides hospice care and nurse-led clinics but to continue to provide its services free of charge has to raise more than £1.75 million every year.
