Did You Know? campaign looks at performance

The next phase of the national Federation’s Did You Know? campaign focuses on issues relating to performance.
The Federation chooses a theme for each month, based on questions received from members. The overall aim of the campaign is to highlight key issues and ensure officers know exactly what they can claim as part of their role.
John Apter, national chair, said: “Please get involved with this campaign - understanding your basic entitlements under police regulations is essential and that’s what this campaign will help you to do.”
This month’s topic covers questions around the Assessment and Recognition of Competence (ARC) Scheme, Professional Development Reviews (PDR) and what happens if an officer does not agree with a line manager’s assessment of their performance.
