The Police Federation’s Welsh lead will be in Llandudno at the weekend for the Welsh Labour Party’s annual conference, the first to be held since the pandemic.
Nicky Ryan will be joined at the event by Zac Mader, who is a Welsh regional representative on the Police Federation of England and Wales’ National Board and a fellow member of the Federation’s Welsh Affairs Sub-Committee.
“This conference will give us a chance to meet politicians face to face,” says Nicky, who has held a series of online meetings with Members of the Senedd since taking up the Welsh lead post in April last year.
“There are some real challenges in policing right now and it will be good to be able to discuss these with those who represent us in Welsh Government.
“I am looking forward to meeting people, sharing the views of officers with politicians and hearing their thoughts on policing.”
