Upcoming Retirement Seminar for Police Officers and Staff on 2 October

his one day seminar is aimed at police officers and staff who are in their last two years of service, and is designed to help you start planning your transition from the Police into retirement or a second career.

The day is brought to you by Policing Your Future and our aim is to support you on your career transition journey by providing up to date information and opportunities, which will help to inform your decision making as you plan your retirement from the public services.

This event will cover:

• The Police Pension Schemes and the McCLoud remedy
• Pensions and long term retirement planning
• Taxation
• Financial Wellbeing (including savings and investments)
• Estate and asset protection
• CV writing and interview skills
• Future employment opportunities

There will be a chance to book 1:1 sessions with some of the speakers at the event, so you may want to bring your diary.
